ENUMCLAW, WA-- Carl Sweetwater has been driving a schoolbus for
the Enumclaw Public School for seventeen years, and is proud of
his day job. But, at night, when the children's songs are over
Carl lives a horrific nightmare.Carl lives in a modest home in nearby Auburn, Washington, and tends a simple garden planted with herbs. Carl doesn't drink or smoke, and he likes to relax by playing solitaire or working with wood in his garage. He will occupy his time with anything that keeps him out of his basement--a basement shelved with beer bottles. "Don't make me go in there," said Carl in a fragile voice. "Don't make me count the bottles." Editor: Carl has since retired since news of this story reached the Enumclaw school district. |
